Our Renovation Process

OUR PROCESS | PLAN, BUILD, ENJOY

You're ready to get your project started, but still have questions on how to move forward. Our renovation design process sets out the steps to getting the results you want.

1. Estimate And Consultation

In-home consultations are available at no charge.

We will arrange an appointment at your convenience to go over the project and clarify the scope of work.

Your free estimate will include a detailed scope of work and the estimated cost.

Estimates are not expected to be the final price offering, but a reliable rough figure on which you can base your planning process.

We collect a 5% deposit of the estimated total job cost when you move forward with your estimate. This is to secure your spot in our schedule and cover the initial costs of planning and design. This is credited towards the total cost of the job.

2. Planning And Design

This brings us into the planning stage, where you will receive pricing, project timeline, a list of selections/specifications, and updated design drawings, if applicable.

We provide you with a written contract and 2 year warranty for every project.

Inside, you'll get a detailed description of the work we'll do, the scheduled project start and completion date, warranty information, payment schedule, and design documents.

Upon contract signing, we will collect the remaining 20%, for a total deposit of 25% of actual job cost. This is to ensure that we have the funds to purchase the materials and pay the subcontractors needed for your project.

3. Prep And Build

Now that all of the details are finalized, we move into the construction phase. We will go over everything you'll need to know to be prepared for our arrival.

You can let us know about any special considerations while working in your home, such as pets, parking, and where we can store materials that will be delivered.

On the first day of the project, we start by protecting your existing floors, creating dust barriers, and any other required prep work to protect your home and family.

We will leave your home cleaner than when we started each day.

You will be provided with a clear idea of how the project is progressing.

You will deal directly with the same person throughout the project.

We work on your project 5 days a week until it is completed, except for cases where wait time, template and fabrication, or work by others is required.

These exceptions will be noted in your project schedule. We generally work on site from 8:00 to 5:00, but can adjust for your schedule if needed.

We are open and honest throughout the process and welcome you to ask questions and get involved.

We are insured with a $2 million liability policy.

4. Enjoy!

Once we give everything a thorough cleaning, remove protective surfaces, and drive off with our tools, you can enjoy your newly renovated space.

You'll get a walk through on how to operate appliances, fixtures, switches or anything else that's new to your space.

Cleaning and maintenance instructions to protect your investment will also be provided.

Although your project is over, our relationship continues. We offer a 2 year warranty on workmanship and materials supplied.
